Spectrum of escalation: entitled, frustrating, annoying, demanding, disrespectful, inconsiderate, aggressive, threatening, and violent.

Examples of Disruptive Behavior

• 打电话、发短信、使用智能手机玩社交媒体等等.，在你前面排队的时候，无视轮到他们的机会，或者在教室里.
• 谈话时经常被打断，或者反复问不相关的、跑题的问题.
• Inappropriate or overly revealing clothing, 包括极具性挑逗意味的衣服, pajamas, or sleepwear.

• Interruptions in conversation, 经常不必要地使用洗手间或吸烟休息，使学生在课堂上坐立不安, etc.

• 过度的叹气、翻白眼或其他扰乱课堂环境的手势.

• Reading magazines, newspapers, or books, 或者在和你谈话或上课期间学习其他课程/做其他作业.

Examples of Dangerous Behavior

• 种族主义或其他夸大(不只是表达一次按钮)的想法，如, “Women should be barefoot and pregnant,“同性恋是上帝所憎恶的，应该受到惩罚。,“穆斯林都是恐怖分子，应该从地球上消灭。.”
• Bullying behavior focused on students, faculty, or staff in the waiting room, outside the office, in the classroom, or in the residence halls.
• Directly communicated threats to staff, faculty or students, 比如“我要踢你的屁股”或者“如果你再说一遍。, I will end you.”
• Prolonged nonverbal, 消极攻击行为，比如双臂交叉坐着, glaring or staring at staff, 拒绝说话或回答问题或指令.
• 自残行为:自残行为，如切割或焚烧, including during a meeting or class, 或者暴露之前未暴露的自伤.
• 殴打:身体上的攻击，如推、推或拳打脚踢.
• Throwing objects or slamming doors.
• 生气时冲出办公室或房间，大喊大叫要报复.
• 旨在让其他学生或教职员工感到不安的谈话，比如对武器的描述, killing, or death.
• Psychotic, delusional, or rambling speech.
• Overuse of an office or staff function or time; especially when already instructed not to overuse the staff or office and on appropriate boundaries.
